The National Treasury is inviting applications for its Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for TVET College students who have completed their N6 qualification and require workplace experience to complete their studies.

The National Treasury is inviting applications for its Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for 2026/27. This opportunity is aimed at TVET College students who have completed their N6 qualification and require workplace experience to complete their studies.

A total of 14 internship positions are available and will be based in Pretoria. The programme offers practical workplace exposure that allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a professional environment.

About The WIL Programme

The National Treasury WIL Programme runs for 18 months and is designed to help TVET graduates gain the practical work experience required to obtain their National Diploma.

Through this programme, participants will gain valuable experience while working in different units within the department. The workplace training will help learners develop professional skills, improve work readiness and increase their chances of future employment.

Fields Of Study Accepted

Applicants must have completed an N6 Certificate in one of the following fields:

Financial Management

Business Management

Marketing Management

Office Administration

Public Management

Human Resources Management

Internship Location

All successful candidates will be placed at the National Treasury offices in Pretoria, where they will gain workplace exposure within relevant departments.

Key Learning Areas

Participants in the WIL Programme will receive practical training within various units of the department. The specific learning areas and responsibilities will be explained to successful candidates once they are placed in their respective units.

Programme Duration And Remuneration

The Work Integrated Learning Programme will run for a period of 18 months.

Successful applicants will receive an all-inclusive remuneration package, which will be discussed during the recruitment process.
