Tharisa is currently recruiting graduates in the following fields:

  •     Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering (Ref: GDP001-M/CE)
  •     Geology (Ref: GDP001-G)
  •     Mining Engineering (Ref: GDP001-ME)
  •     Rock Engineering (Ref: GDP001-RE)
  •     Surveying (Ref: GDP001-S)
  •     Instrumentation (Ref: GDP001-I)

Tharisa Minerals, South Africa (specific site details to be confirmed during recruitment)

Minimum Entry Requirements:

To be considered for the Tharisa Graduate Programme, applicants must:

  •     Be in possession of a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
  •     Hold an N-Diploma or Degree in one of the relevant fields listed above
  •     Have no prior work experience in your field of study, including internships or graduate programmes
  •     Demonstrate strong academic performance
  •     Be computer literate
  •     Be medically fit for work in a mining environment
  •     Be a South African citizen

Selection Priorities:

  •     Preference will be given to female candidates
  •     Preference will also be given to applicants from local communities or labour-sending areas
  •     Employment Equity principles will be applied in line with Tharisa’s policy
