This 6-month contract position provides valuable hands-on experience in procurement and administrative operations, making it the perfect entry point into the supply chain industry.

About the Internship:

The Procurement Intern will work closely with Syntech’s procurement and product teams, gaining exposure to real-world processes such as purchase order validation, vendor coordination, pricing checks, and data accuracy. Interns will also support product classification, production file reviews, and help manage bulk branch orders to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily procurement team meetings
  • Check Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) for pricing accuracy
  • Validate and load purchase orders
  • Assist with vendor follow-ups and documentation retrieval
  • Support product data validation and packaging reviews
  • Perform pricing comparisons and monitor procurement backlogs

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric or National Senior Certificate (essential)
  • 0–1 year of experience in procurement or administration (advantageous)

Skills Needed:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
