The well-known Services Seta is recruiting now for their paid internships that are available in a number of their departments. Everything from Finance to Marketing is covered by this internship programme.

The Services Seta is responsible for training and skills development in the services sector. This includes occupations from areas as diverse as ICT, HR, Marketing and Finance. 

The closing date for these internships has been extended to the 16th January 2026.

Internships Available

PROVINCIAL OPERATIONS
The Intern: Provincial Operations will provide support in monitoring the implementation of Discretionary Grant Learning Programmes (including inductions, monitoring, and closure activities) and in Support to Invoicing of Discretionary Grant Learning Programmes. The Intern Provincial Operations supports the facilitation and coordination of the Services SETA service offerings at Provincial level.
 
INTERN: OPERATIONS
The Intern: Operations is responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Departments at Operations. Administrative activities include ensuring the implementation of all administrative tasks and processes. This also includes providing administrative support for data capturing, registering, and filling of learner documentation for the Operations Division.
 
INTERN: OFFICE OF THE CEO
The Intern: Office of the CEO is responsible to assist and provide support administrative at the Office of the CEO. This includes supporting and assisting with diary management, office management and co-ordination as well as the execution of various administrative functions such as gathering information, compiling reports, typing, and filing.
 
INTERN: BURSARIES
The Intern: Bursaries is responsible for processing learner bursary applications from Universities and TVET Colleges, as well as tracking, monitoring, and reporting to the Bursary Unit. The activities include receiving bursary applications, verifying learner documents, completing reporting documentation, and monitoring funded learners until completion
 
INTERN: STRATEGY AND INSIGHTS
The Intern: Strategy and Insights is responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Strategy and Insights Department. Activities include ensuring implementation of all administrative tasks and processes focusing on research, skills planning, performance verifications, qualifications development, and chamber operations.
 
INTERN: HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
The Intern: Human Capital Management is responsible for the provision of administrative support to the HCM Department. This will include providing administrative assistant in HCM functions such as Learning and Development, Recruitment, Wellness, Employee Relations, and other HR projects.
 
INTERN: MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
The Intern: Marketing and Communications is responsible to assist with marketing, communications, and administration duties in the department. The incumbent is required to be involved in a variety of other marketing and communication projects, and to offer administrative support.
 
INTERN: INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
The Intern: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is responsible for assisting the ICT department with the implementation of the Information Security Programme. The incumbent will also assist with the development and management of ICT project plans and deliverables, as well as the production of ICT project reports.
 
INTERN: FINANCE
The Intern: Finance is responsible for the provision of administrative functions of the finance department within Procurement Services, Project Accounting and Financial Management of the Services SETA
