PPS Foundation Bursary Programme is now open for applications from students who will be studying at university or TVET College in 2026.

The PPS Foundation has officially opened applications for its 2026 Bursary Programme, offering financial support to deserving South African students who excel academically and demonstrate financial need. The bursary aims to help students achieve their educational goals while empowering them to make a positive contribution to their communities.

Application Period:
Opens: 15 October 2025
Closes: 20 December 2025

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the PPS Foundation Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Achieve a minimum academic average of 65%.
• Have a combined household income of R1,000,000 or less per year.

Documents Required

Applicants must upload clear, valid copies of the following supporting documents as part of their online application:

• Full academic transcript or official results letter covering your current qualification to date. Matriculants or first-year applicants should submit preliminary results by 20 December 2025. Shortlisted applicants will be required to submit final transcripts by 16 January 2026.
• Proof of household income, which may include one of the following:
  – Payslips of parent(s) or guardian(s) if employed
  – Affidavit if parent(s) or guardian(s) are unemployed
  – Death certificate(s) if parent(s) or guardian(s) are deceased
• A clear, certified copy of your South African ID (not older than 3 months)

Important Information

All details provided, including proof of income, will be verified. The PPS Foundation reserves the right to withdraw funding if it is discovered that false information was submitted or if the household income exceeds the stated threshold.
