About the role
As an HR Intern at Mintek, you’ll play a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring the smooth running of recruitment, onboarding, and training functions. You’ll gain valuable experience across multiple HR activities while contributing to the organisation’s talent management initiatives.
Remuneration: R186,180 per annum (market-related)
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the full recruitment process, including job posting, application tracking, and interview coordination.
- Conduct pre-screening, reference checks, and assist HR Business Partners (HRBPs) during interview briefings.
- Ensure candidate compliance with employment legislation and right-to-work requirements.
- Support the administration of new joiner documentation, employment contracts, and occupational health assessments.
- Assist with organising and tracking training sessions, managing attendance registers, and maintaining learning records.
- Provide administrative support for bursary programmes, including payment processing and reporting.
- Help consolidate data for SETA, BEE, EE, and Workplace Skills Plans (WSP/ATR) reporting.
