MUNICIPAL FINANCE MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME (MFMIP) X8 POSITIONS AT MOPANI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY
Stipend: R100 000. Per Annum
Duration: 24 Months
Requirements: The candidate should hold a minimum of three-year National Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree with Majors in Accounting, Economics and Finance Management.
The candidate must be between 21 and 35 yrs.
Duties: Prepare and Manage budget, provide revenue and debt collection, prepare bank reconciliation and cash flow, process payments of goods and services, perform assets bar coding and verification, coordinate acquisition processes and procedures, compile monthly reports.
The intern will sign both an employment contract and internship agreement. The purpose of the agreements to ensure commitment to the programme which require, amongst other full participation in the education and workplace assignments and observance of policies and procedures of the municipality.
