IPID Internship Programme for TVET Graduates – Now Open for Applications

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is offering a valuable training and work experience opportunity for unemployed South African TVET college graduates who have not yet had the chance to gain workplace experience in their field of study.

If you're a young graduate looking to gain practical exposure and enhance your employability, this programme could be your stepping stone into the world of work.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the IPID internship programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  •     Be a South African citizen
  •     Be between the ages of 18 and 35 at the start of the internship
  •     Have completed a qualification from a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college
  •     Not have any prior work experience related to your qualification
  •     Be currently unemployed
  •     Be applying to the province in which you reside

Applicants are not required to submit copies of qualifications and other relevant documents on applications but must submit Z83 and a detailed Curriculum Vitae. Applications quoting the correct reference number must be submitted on the new form Z83 - Click here to download.
