The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) is inviting qualified and unemployed South African graduates to apply for its comprehensive 24-month Internship Programme. About the IDC Internship Programme
 

This paid internship offers a fixed-term contract and includes mentorship, hands-on training, and opportunities to engage with experienced professionals. Interns will benefit from a customised development plan while gaining valuable real-world experience that enhances employability.

Programme Objectives:

• Build a talent pipeline for the IDC and related sectors
• Create employment pathways for qualified but unemployed graduates
• Help interns apply academic knowledge in a practical work setting

Eligibility Criteria:

• South African citizen
• Under 35 years of age
• Completed qualification in one of the following fields:
   – BCom Accounting
   – Financial Management (specialising in Management Accounting)
• Must not be currently employed or studying
• Must not have participated in any previous internship or learnership programme
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be available to sign a 24-month fixed-term contract

Important Checks:

Applicants will undergo criminal record checks, qualification verification, and citizenship confirmation as part of the recruitment process.

Candidates who meet all eligibility requirements and demonstrate the necessary skills will be invited to take part in competency-based interviews.
