There's exciting news for Gauteng residents as the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller  is now recruiting for ten different internship programmes.

Young people living in Gauteng now have the opportunity to apply for a 12-month Facilities Management Internship Programme linked to the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller Youth Accelerator Programme.

This internship opportunity is aimed at unemployed graduates who want to gain practical workplace experience and develop valuable industry skills through placement at host companies across Gauteng.

The programme offers successful candidates a monthly stipend of R7,000 for the duration of the fixed-term internship.

Internship Details

  • Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
  • Programme Duration: 12 Months
  • Closing Date: 27 May 2026
  • Stipend: R7,000 per month

What The Internship Involves

The internship forms part of a Youth Accelerator Programme focused on equipping unemployed youth with practical workplace experience. Successful applicants will be placed at various host companies where they will gain exposure to facilities management and related operational environments.

Interns will mainly assist with maintenance and other related duties. Additional information regarding placements and responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process.

Please note that the internship placement is not directly with the Gauteng Department of Enterprise and Propeller.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have completed a degree or diploma qualification. Check the website for full details.
