CIPC (a member of the dtic) is providing internship opportunities at their head office. The internship runs for a period of 24 months and comes with a R12,000 monthly stipend.

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme.

The internship programme is aimed at helping young South African graduates gain practical workplace experience that complements their academic qualifications and improves their employability.

Successful applicants will be appointed for a period of 24 months and will be placed at the CIPC's Sunnyside Office in Pretoria.

CIPC, which is a member of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), is committed to youth skills development and providing graduates with opportunities to gain valuable work experience.

CIPC Graduate Internship Requirements

The CIPC Graduate Internship Programme is open to unemployed graduates who meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Must have completed a degree or diploma at a higher education institution.
  • Must be unemployed and have not gained relevant work experience in their field of study.
  • Must not have previously participated in an internship programme.

Applicants should ensure that they meet all the requirements before submitting their applications.

Minimum Requirements

National Diploma and /Degree in Law, Public Administration and Business Management.

CIPC Internship Stipend

Successful CIPC interns will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000 for the duration of the internship.

Successful applicants will also be required to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement.

Documents Required for the CIPC Internship

Applicants must carefully read the internship advertisement and ensure that all required supporting documents are submitted.

The application must include an updated:

  • CV
  • South African ID
  • Academic transcript or academic record
  • Relevant qualification

Applicants must combine their CV, ID, qualification and academic transcript into one document, as only one document upload will be permitted.

Failure to upload all the required documents could result in the application being disqualified.

Where Will CIPC Interns Be Based?

Successful applicants will be placed at the CIPC Sunnyside Office in Pretoria.

The 24-month internship will provide graduates with an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience while developing skills relevant to their qualifications.

Graduates who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply and make sure that all supporting documents are correctly uploaded before submitting their applications.
