Tomorrow Trust

The Tomorrow Trust Tertiary Bursary Programme supports university students by offering more than just funding. The programme is designed to help students succeed academically, emotionally, and professionally.

Students receive financial support that covers tuition, books, and other essential study costs so that money does not become a barrier to completing their qualifications.

Applicants must be:

  • Between the ages of 18-35
  • Hold South African citizenship
  • Prepared to pursue a full time undergraduate degree in 2027
  • Studying o intending to study at a public university in South Africa

The Bursary includes:

  • Tuition Fees
  • Textbooks and equipment
  • Living allowances
  • Accommodation
  • Psychosocial support
  • Comprehensive Masterclasses
  • Mentorship and career coaching
  • Career networking and opportunities
  • Personal mastery and future ready skills
  • Support network and evolving tailored support

Fields of Study Covered:

  • Engineering Field
  • IT & Computer Sciences
  • BSc Sciences
  • Property Sciences
  • STEM related fields

The programme provides psychosocial support through one-on-one sessions with psychologists and masterclasses that focus on mental health. This helps students manage stress, cope with academic pressure, and maintain their wellbeing throughout their studies.

Academic support is offered through counselling, assessments, tutoring, and masterclasses to help students overcome academic challenges and build confidence in their abilities.

Career development is another key focus. Students gain access to masterclasses, mentorship, and job placement opportunities. Training is also offered in CV writing, LinkedIn optimisation, networking, and other essential career skills, with additional exposure to internships and practical experiences.

The programme includes strong digital integration to help students build important digital skills needed to succeed in a modern, technology-driven world.

Since it began, the Tomorrow Trust has supported more than 725 university graduates, with over 60% continuing with further studies. Many graduates have gone on to become leaders in their fields, contributing to the economy and helping break cycles of poverty within their families and communities.
