Honoris United Universities, Africa’s leading pan-African private higher education network, has released its third Annual Impact Report, showcasing significant advancements in its mission to deliver "Education for Impact" across the continent.

Since its founding in 2017, Honoris has redefined higher education, now serving 100,000 students and impacting 1.2 million lives through its network of 16 institutions. The 2023 report highlights progress across six key pillars:

  • Enhanced Employability:
    • Achieved an 86% employability rate.
    • Cultivated over 1,000 employer partnerships.
    • Hosted 46 career fairs.
    • Operated 26 career centers.
  • Pioneering Innovation:
    • Scaled adaptive learning systems.
    • Launched the Honoris Digital Division to expand access to quality education.
  • Network Expansion:
    • Welcomed The Animation School, ranked 10th globally, to the network, boosting opportunities in Africa’s creative industries.
  • Advancing Gender Equity and STEM Participation:
    • Increased female student participation to 53%.
    • Grew STEM enrollments by 118%, addressing critical skills gaps.
  • Community and Sustainability Impact:
    • Prevented 1.5 million tons of CO2 emissions through solar initiatives.
    • Supported health, education, and sustainability projects.

Amidst the rise of artificial intelligence, Honoris has integrated these advancements to enhance personalized education and student experience. The network has also joined the United Nations Global Compact, aligning its efforts with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The report demonstrates Honoris' contribution to 12 of the 17 SDGs.
