The Sector Education and Training Authority  (SETA) function is to facilitate skills development by creating learning programmes such as  learnerships, skills programmes and internships. This is done through providing grants to employers and training providers.


Sector Education and Training Authority for the services sector is the vocational skills training organization in South Africa. The Services Seta is responsible for creating and managing internships, learnerships, unit based skills programmes and apprenticeships within South Africa.
