Walter Sisulu University took to their Facebook page to address students concerning NSFAS matters during lockdown.

The message reads as follows:

Due to the current lockdown measures, the University has taken a decision to process financial clearance of NSFAS funded students who have not yet submitted Acknowledgement of Debt (AoD) forms. The University has also processed the financial clearance for the special cases applications submitted to date.

NSFAS funded students or students who have submitted special cases applications are urged to register online as soon as possible and to send an email to [email protected] if they have any
queries.

Students are requested to quote their student number and Campus name in the subject line of the email.

Students who have not submitted AoDs forms must submit the forms as soon as it is practically possible to do so. Students who fail to submit AoDs when requested to do so will have payment of allowances suspended until they comply.
