Young South Africans interested in building a career in the agricultural industry can apply for the Senwes Grainlink Learnership 2026.
Senwes Grainlink is offering a 12-month learnership programme to enthusiastic and motivated young people who want to gain practical experience in the agricultural and grain industry.
Successful learners will receive hands-on training at one of Senwes Grainlink's silos while completing formal training that can prepare them for a career as a Junior Grain Grader.
About The Senwes Grainlink Learnership
The Senwes Grainlink learnership combines workplace experience with accredited training. Learners will spend 12 months at one of the company's silos, gaining practical knowledge of grain handling and silo operations.
The programme will also expose learners to different grain commodities, including maize, sunflower and soya, while helping them develop important workplace skills.
The learnership is suited to young people who have an interest in agriculture or technical fields and are willing to work in a silo environment.
What The Senwes Learnership Offers
As a Grainlink learner, you will participate in a structured 12-month learnership programme at one of Senwes Grainlink's silos.
The training will provide practical exposure to silo operations, grain handling and administration. Learners will also gain experience working with different types of grain commodities.
The programme includes accredited training in grain grading, as well as essential workplace skills such as computer literacy and communication.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following requirements for the Senwes Grainlink Learnership 2026:
Applicants must have a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
A valid driver's licence is also required.
Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old.
Applicants should have an interest in agriculture or technical fields and must be willing to work at a silo and learn about grain operations.
