About the Internship Programme

This internship is designed to provide foundational experience in demand planning and forecasting. It’s ideal for recent graduates or those with up to one year of relevant experience.

You’ll support the end-to-end demand planning cycle, including data gathering, forecasting, and performance tracking, all while collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Demand Planning Intern, your responsibilities will include:

  •     Assisting with the forecasting process to improve accuracy and optimize inventory and cost efficiency
  •     Analysing sales and market data to identify trends and insights
  •     Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align demand forecasts with business goals
  •     Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning tools and systems

Skills and Experience Needed

Minimum Requirements:

  •     Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
    •         Supply Chain Management
    •         Logistics
    •         Business Analytics
    •         Economics
    •         Industrial Engineering
  •     Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
  •     Understanding of statistical forecasting and data analysis
  •     Exposure to tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  •     Familiarity with ERP and demand planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, APO, Anaplan, or Kinaxis is advantageous

SC Johnson is looking for candidates who are:

  •     Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret large datasets
  •     Proactive and independent, but also great team players
  •     Organised, with strong time management skills
  •     Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  •     Eager to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced environment
  •     Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  •     Willing to work across different time zones or regional markets if needed
