Location: Secunda, Sasolburg and Sandton, South Africa
Contract Duration: 24-Month Fixed Term Contract

The Sasol Foundation Graduate Internship Programme is now open for applications. This 24-month internship offers unemployed South African graduates valuable workplace experience within Sasol’s business units, aligned to their field of study.

As a global integrated chemicals and energy company with a proud 75-year heritage, Sasol focuses on developing talent and creating meaningful career opportunities. Through this graduate internship programme, the company aims to equip young professionals with practical skills, industry exposure and long-term career development opportunities.

About the Sasol Graduate Internship Programme

The Sasol Foundation Graduate Internship Programme forms part of the company’s commitment to building an inclusive South African economy. Selected graduates will gain hands-on experience in their respective fields while contributing to real business projects.

This internship is hosted within the Group Rewards & Human Capital Solutions division and provides structured workplace learning over a two-year period.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must be between 18 and 29 years old.
  • Must be currently unemployed.
  • Must reside within Sasol local communities (Secunda, Sasolburg, Ekandustria) or Sasol Retail sites within a 50km radius.
  • Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Digital Marketing / Marketing and Sales
  • Data Science / Data Analytics
  • Information Technology
  • Transport and Logistics
  • Operations Management / Retail Management / Brand Management
  • LLB / Legal and Compliance / Commercial or Property Law
  • Human Resources / Industrial Psychology / Industrial Relations
  • Finance / Accounting / Information Systems (including CIMA or CFP streams)
  • Public Relations Management / Stakeholder Relations
  • Development Studies / Project Management
  • Brand Communication / Communications
  • Business Management / Economics / Business Administration
  • Engineering (Civil or Industrial)
  • Property Studies / Real Estate
