About The Sandvik Apprenticeship Programme
The Sandvik Apprenticeship Programme is designed to develop skilled artisans through a structured training process. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience while learning the technical skills required for their chosen trade.
During the programme, apprentices will work closely with experienced professionals while completing the required training modules and assessments.
Key Responsibilities
Participants in the apprenticeship programme will be expected to:
- Follow the conditions of the relevant employment agreement
- Attend training and perform work as directed
- Maintain professional and respectful behaviour in the workplace
- Follow all lawful instructions and workplace procedures
- Work towards achieving the competencies outlined in the training plan
- Participate in required training and assessments
- Maintain and submit training records when required
Minimum Requirements
To apply for the Sandvik Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science, or an N3 Engineering Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Strong academic performance will be advantageous
- Applicants must attach their Matric statement of results
- Must be a South African citizen
