About the Internship
This hybrid internship role is designed to give graduates hands-on experience in the sales environment. Interns will support the sales team by assisting with lead generation, client engagement, data management, and market research, while also learning how to use modern digital tools to improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Client Engagement: Assist with cold calling, scheduling client meetings, and following up on leads.
- Market Research: Conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends to support sales strategies.
- Data Management: Capture and update client and sales records using Excel and CRM systems.
- Administrative Support: Prepare reports, presentations, professional emails, and assist with daily admin tasks.
- Campaign Support: Help plan, track, and report on sales campaigns and team activities.
- Technology Utilization: Use AI tools and office systems to improve efficiency and support the sales team.
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.
- Experience in Contact Centre, Sales, or Sales Administration is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable with digital tools, AI platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a sales environment.
- Employment equity candidates will be given preference.
