Media24 is inviting applications for its Technology and AI Graduate Programme, offering graduates the opportunity to gain practical workplace experience in technology, data science and artificial intelligence.
The 12-month graduate internship will provide successful candidates with the opportunity to work alongside experienced technology professionals on projects involving AI and emerging technologies.
Media24 is South Africa's largest media brand, with well-known platforms and publications including News24 and Netwerk24. Its technology teams work on digital products and solutions that support these brands.
What You Will Do
As a Technology and AI graduate intern, you will gain exposure to a range of technologies and projects while working as part of collaborative teams.
Your responsibilities will include learning and working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
You will also work in cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement AI solutions that address important business challenges.
Graduate interns will participate in the full AI project development lifecycle. This includes contributing to the initial concept, data collection, model training, evaluation and deployment.
You will also develop and maintain scalable and efficient AI systems using different programming languages and technology tools.
The programme will also involve researching emerging artificial intelligence technologies and methodologies to stay up to date with developments in the industry.
Media24 Technology And AI Graduate Programme Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A BSc Honours degree or equivalent qualification, with Computer Science or Engineering subjects.
- Must be a South African citizen.
Previous work experience is not required for this graduate internship programme.
