The Kusini Water Champions Programme 2026 is now open for applications, giving unemployed young people in South Africa the chance to build skills, start a business and make a meaningful difference in their communities.

The programme is designed to empower participants to become clean water entrepreneurs, helping address South Africa’s ongoing need for safe drinking water.

Through this opportunity, successful applicants will develop practical skills in water technology, learn how to run a sustainable water business and work towards the possibility of owning their own Kusini Water Kiosk.

The initiative aims to support youth who are passionate about improving access to clean water in disadvantaged areas while also creating opportunities for personal and professional growth.

To qualify, applicants must be entrepreneurial, show leadership qualities and have basic computer literacy. They should also be eager to learn, customer-focused, able to solve problems and driven by a commitment to providing clean drinking water to communities in need.

If you want to help bring positive change to your community while building your future, this programme offers a valuable stepping stone
