Dentsu SA is the local representative of the global advertising giant Dentsu and they are looking for recent graduates or part-time students who are ready to launch a career in the world of marketing and advertising.

They work with some of the country's top colleges and universities in running the programme and they promise it is full of opportunities for hands-on learning, personal growth, and mentorship from industry professionals.

The programme runs for six to twelve months, with the goal of transitioning successful interns into permanent roles that align with their skills and aspirations.

The purpose of this role is to learn and assist with the planning, reviewing, and optimization of retail digital media campaigns, including paid search, social media, programmatic, and e-commerce platforms. The intern will support the team with reporting, campaign management, and audience insights to drive performance for retail clients.

Locations: Cape Town and Gauteng

Contract Type: Internship Fixed Term Contract

Requirements

  • Matric Certificate
  • South African ID
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of media and marketing
