The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) have advertising for their graduate internship opportunity, based in Pretoria. There are two positions available.

The CIPC is calling on young South Africans to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme for E-Communications. This 24-month internship offers valuable work experience and practical training at the organisation’s Sunnyside offices in Pretoria.

This is a re-advertisement of the programme. Applicants who previously applied do not need to submit another application.

About the Internship Programme

The Graduate Internship Programme is a public service initiative designed to give unemployed graduates practical workplace experience that supports their academic qualifications. The programme specifically targets:

• Unemployed South African graduates who have completed a diploma or degree
• Graduates with no previous work experience
• Graduates who have never been part of an internship programme
• Applicants aged between 18 and 35

Stipend

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R12 000.

Successful candidates must sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement before starting.

Important Application Information

Applicants must upload all required documents in the correct sections when submitting their application. These include:

• Updated CV
• Certified ID copy
• Relevant qualification (uploaded under “supporting documents”)

Failure to upload the required documents correctly will result in automatic disqualification.

The CIPC will conduct qualification and citizenship checks on successful candidates. Applicants with foreign qualifications must have them evaluated by SAQA.

Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend interviews at a date and time set by the CIPC.

Minimum Requirement

A completed Bachelor of Commerce degree or National Diploma in Business management, International Trade, Criminology, Information Technology, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management
