BMW Group South Africa Yes4Youth Programme 2026 Now Open

BMW Group South Africa has opened applications for its 2026 Yes4Youth (Y4Y) Programme, offering unemployed young people the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience at one of the world’s leading automotive brands.

The Yes4Youth Programme forms part of BMW Group South Africa’s commitment to addressing youth unemployment by equipping young South Africans with practical skills, hands-on experience and exposure to a professional working environment.

Who Can Apply?

The programme is open to unemployed youth who meet the following criteria:

Aged between 18 and 34 years.
Have completed their studies.
Have not previously participated in a Yes4Youth programme.
Currently unemployed.

Successful applicants will be based in Gauteng at one of the following BMW locations:

BMW Group South Africa Midrand Campus, Johannesburg.
BMW Plant Rosslyn, Pretoria.
BMW IT Hub, Menlyn, Pretoria.

Qualifications and Fields of Study

Applicants must hold a University Degree or National Diploma in one of the following fields:

Business Administration or Business Management.
Communications and Marketing.
Finance, Accounting, Economics, Investments, Internal Auditing or Tax.
Risk Management.
Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Labour Law.
Law (LLB).
Business Analytics or Data Analytics.
Information Technology, Computer Science, Informatics or Information Systems.
Programming and Coding, including JAVA, SAP, ABAP or related certifications.
Graphic Design with a focus on UI or UX.
Mathematics or Data Science.
Health Services Management.
Political Sciences or Economics.
Engineering qualifications including Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgy or Civil Engineering.
Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management.

Application Information

All applications must be submitted online via the BMW Careers Portal. Applicants are required to create a detailed profile and upload the following supporting documents:

Updated CV.
Certified copy of ID.
Academic record or transcript.
Qualification certificate.
Matric certificate or any relevant supporting certificates.

Applicants are advised to clearly label all documents, for example: CV_Name_Surname.

Please note that all appointments will be made in line with the Employment Equity requirements of the Yes4Youth Programme.
