The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is a public broadcaster that was established in August 1936. They have set themselves the mandate to inform, educate and entertain the public of South Africa.

The SABC consists of 4 divisions which are sales, technology, video entertainment and news & current affairs. They also have several platforms which include TV, sport, news, radio, education and TV licenses.

With multiple platforms and divisions, the SABC will have many opportunities available in a variety of career fields. 

Here is how and where you can find SABC vacancies:

  1. Go to the SABC Website
  2. Navigate to the Career Tab and click on it 
  3. Using the drop-down, select the following
    • Location
    • Date posted
    • Requisition ID
    • Job Function
    • Employee Type
  4. Click Search

A list of vacancies at the SABC will be displayed in correspondence with your drop-down search selections. Click here to view internships and learnerships available at the SABC.

To apply to any of the positions you have chosen you will need to login into your SABC Careers Portal account or create one if you don't already have one.

You can also visit the SABC vacancy list, where vacancies will be listed when available. Once you have clicked on a vacancy, the details of the opportunity will be available in the form of a pdf.
