The Hollywood Foundation is excited to announce the opening of applications for the 2026 Future is Bright Bursary Programme.

Aligned with our commitment to the Education and Training pillar, the Hollywood Foundation strives to empower students nationwide, bridging the transition from high school to tertiary education.

Our focus is on equipping students with the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for a seamless entry into the workforce. In adherence to our mission of promoting equal access to education, we take pride in the ongoing implementation of the “Future is Bright” bursary programme, an annual initiative that solidifies our dedication to fostering educational opportunities.

THE BURSARY PROGRAMME OFFERS FULL OR PARTIAL FUNDING FOR STUDIES IN THE FOLLOWING FIELDS, DEPENDING ON ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND THE AREA OF STUDY:

  • Computer Science
  • Finance / Accounting
  • Digital Marketing / Marketing
  • BSc Data Science / BSc Information Management
Candidate Requirements
  • Latest results 60% and above if tertiary/higher institution
  • South African Citizen (external applicants only)
  • Duration of course: 12 months and longer
  • Must apply into a tertiary institution within South Africa and have a strong academic record, the qualifying aggregate for Matric is 65% and for students already in tertiary is 60%
  • Type of qualifications: Full time Higher Certificates, National Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Post- Graduate studies
  • Institution to be registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training
