How To Apply
The person who will be responsible for monthly repayments will need to fill out the application.
- Go to the MANATI website
- Click on the 'APPLY NOW' button
- Click on the 'APPLY NOW' button quick
- You will then be taken to a chat bot and you should click on 'Hi!'
- Click on 'Yes, I agree and consent'
- Follow the prompts
- Submit documents
To improve your chances for loan approval, apply with “Joint Household Income”. With your spouse/partner’s consent, enter their income details too when applying.
Students can also apply by obtaining and filling out an application form at the institution that they work with and they would have a specific link for the institution.
Documents Needed To Apply
- 3 months payslip
- 3 months bank statement
- SA ID or passport
- Proof of address
- Proof of enrolment/registration with education institution
How MANATI Applications Work
MANATI will do credit and affordability checks to see if the sponsor qualifies for a loan. If “Joint Household Income” was selected, MANATI would then look at the total household income.
They would then review the information submitted during the application. They will then also conduct reference checks, identity checks, employment checks and a final affordability check.
MANATI can provide loans from R30 000 to R120 000.
