Youth Capital is a youth lead campaign for driving changes in youth unemployment in South Africa. So how does Youth Capital do this?
They connect the voices of young people and their lived experiences with research, evidence and data and they then bring that together with other stakeholders in the sector.
Youth Capital aims to create systemic changes through policy changes and make sure that these very changes will transform into solutions that will really help young people in the country.
The organisation also does work in trying to make things which are complicated, simpler. For example, they place focus on the Second Chance Matric Programme. This is the country's matric rewrites programme which many rely on to get back to their journey to a successful career.
Youth Capital then works to put the word out and to make things clearer which normally aren't.
