Gender-Based violence refers to harmful acts directed at an individual based on their gender. Gender Based Violence is a serious human rights violation.
These are the 6 types of Gender Based Violence:
- Violence against women and girls (VAWG)
- Violence against LGBTI people.
- Intimate partner violence (IPV)
- Domestic violence (DV)
- Sexual violence (SV)
- Indirect (structural) violence.
