Registrations for the 2021 academic year are open at the False Bay College. The False Bay College’s mission is to develop people by serving as a gateway to employment, small business development, and higher education for the community.
As part of the College’s strategic goals; to deliver training relevant to the needs of industry and the changing environment, False Bay TVET College recognizes that more must be done to address climate change and global warming. This includes the increased deployment of renewable energy and decarbonising our economies as a matter of urgency.
A higher certificate are programmes that are mostly vocational. What this means is that the course material is industry-oriented. The practical skills that students will learn will help improve their performance within a working environment. It is an excellent way to increase your skills and knowledge within a particular career field.
The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) launched the Pre-Vocational Learning Programme (PLP) Pilot Project in 2018 with the participation of 9 colleges. False Bay TVET College took part in the pilot and enrolled 62 students at the Khayelitsha Campus.
