AGRICOLLEGES international, in collaboration with Cheeba Africa and Chancen International, is offering both short and full-year agricultural courses with a strong focus on future-ready skills, and they’re completely funded through an Income Share Agreement (ISA) model. This means you study now and only pay later, once you’re earning.
What Is An ISA?
An ISA, or Income Share Agreement, is a funding model that allows you to complete your studies without paying anything upfront. Instead, you repay a small percentage of your income only after you’re employed and earning over R5,000 per month. This student-first model is designed to remove financial barriers and ensure fair access to education.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for ISA-funded study, you must:
- Be a South African citizen aged 18–34
- Come from a household earning less than R50,000/month
- Have a clear credit record
- Not enrolled in any other studies
- Be available for online study and compulsory sessions
For the 1-year course, you must not be employed.
For the short course, you must be employed and earning more than R5,000 per month.

Short Agriculture Courses (6–12 Weeks)
Perfect for working individuals who want to upskill or those with a side hustle in farming, these short courses include:
- Cannabis Grow 101 (in collaboration with Cheeba Cannabis & Hemp Academy)
- Introduction to Plant Production or Animal Production and Agribusiness
- Pig or Poultry Farming
- Avocado, Cassava, Mango & Macadamia Production
- Aquaponics & Irrigation
- Good Agricultural Practices
- Agribusiness Fundamentals
These courses include:
- Fully online
- Access to learning support
- Certificate of completion
- Practical components in some courses
- Tuition valued between R6,000–R10,000
One-Year National Certificate Courses
If you’re not employed and not currently studying, you can apply for a fully-funded 1-year NQF Level 4 Certificate in:
- General Agriculture
- Plant Production
- Animal Production
- Plant Production – Cannabis & Hemp (in collaboration with Cheeba Cannabis & Hemp Academy)
This blended course includes online study with one week of in-person practical training and is AgriSETA-accredited, preparing you for real-world agricultural work.
