Premier is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated and ambitious young people to join its Apprenticeship Programme in Waltloo, Gauteng. The Apprenticeship Millwright position is based at Premier’s Waltloo Bakery and forms part of the Maintenance Department.
This 3-year apprenticeship programme is designed to equip candidates with both theoretical knowledge and practical workplace training. Apprentices will complete structured learning at an accredited training centre while also gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of qualified Artisans. Practical training will often take place on weekends and public holidays to ensure apprentices gain exposure to real working conditions.

- No prior work experience is required, although any relevant experience will be an advantage.

- A curious, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and handle a pressurised environment.
- Technically inclined with an interest in mechanical systems.
- Analytical and detail-oriented thinker with good hand-eye coordination.
- Driven, motivated and willing to learn, take initiative, and overcome challenges.
Additional Information:
- Apprentices will be required to work a 6-day week with overtime when needed.
- All theoretical training must be passed at the standard required by management.
