The City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality is one of South Africa’s eight metropolitan municipalities. It governs the capital city, Pretoria, and surrounding areas in Gauteng Province. The municipality is responsible for providing essential services such as water, electricity, sanitation, roads, waste management, housing, and public safety to its residents.

The City of Tshwane covers a vast area and includes Pretoria, Centurion, Soshanguve, Mamelodi, Hammanskraal, Bronkhorstspruit, and other towns. It serves a population of over 3 million people and is an important center for government administration, education, and commerce.

Great news for young people in Gauteng as the City of Tshwane is recruiting 120 youth to work on one of 6 specialist Apprenticeships that they have available now. 

 


The City of Tshwane has opened applications for its Student Database Programme for 2025, inviting unemployed graduates and students who need work experience to apply for upcoming internship and training opportunities. 


There are 200 positions available now on the City of Tshwane Metro Police Trainee programme.  If you are young, physically fit and have grade 12, this could be perfect for you.
