NSFAS Application: What does 'Awaiting Registration' mean?

Answer

If you've submitted your NSFAS application, you would then regularly check your NSFAS application status by logging into myNSFAS.

You will then be told on what stage your application is on.

So what does it mean when it says your NSFAS application is 'Awaiting Registration'?

Awaiting Registration means NSFAS is receiving data from your institution to enable them to create a bursary agreement.

This is another step students find themselves on for a while. This is because NSFAS has to wait for information from your chosen institution.
