Oxbridge Academy makes use of Distance Learning where you don't have to travel to a campus to attend any classes.

Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) opened on 1 January 2005, the result of the merging of the PE Technikon the University of Port Elizabeth (UPE) and the Port Elizabeth campus of Vista University (Vista PE).
On 20 July 2017, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University was officially renamed Nelson Mandela University (NMU): the only higher education institution in the world to carry the name of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. Eduvos has a long history that started in 1979 with the founding of the Computer Technology Institute (CTI) that was later merged with Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI) and operated for some years as Pearson Institute of Higher Education (PIHE). IIE's Varsity College is a private higher education institution in South Africa that operates under The Independent Institute of Education (IIE), the largest private education provider in the country. The University of South Africa (Unisa) is the largest open distance learning institution in Africa, the longest standing dedicated distance education university in the world. According to the Unisa website, they enrol nearly one-third of South African students.
Central Johannesburg TVET College's mission is to lead their students to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities that contributes to economic development, through responsive education and training interventions. Their vision is to become a public TVET College of choice.
They offer a variety of courses at their six campuses. They urge all their students to apply for NSFAS as it will provide financial relief on households. If looking to study a Nated or NC(V) course then this university is for you.
The University of Cape Town, referred to as UCT, is South Africa's oldest university and has its main campus on the slopes of Table Mountain in Rondebosch. It is home to 17 000 undergrad students, 11 000 postgrad students and 4 000 staff. There is also a medical campus, aligned to the famous Groote Schuur Hospital; a fine art campus in central Cape Town.
Durban University of Technology offers many different departments as well as short courses. There are libraries at all campuses for students to use for their studies. Writing centres are offered to help students to improve their writing, reading and researching skills. Bursaries and scholarships are awarded to deserving students. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding as it provides financial relief to low income households.
Walter Sisulu University of Technology aims to have an impact on the community and also on the country by responding to the needs of the people. Student residence is available near the campuses. Arts and culture, sport and a library is available at all campuses to ensure that the students have a good campus environment for learning and socializing.
Ikhala TVET College offers a variety of courses as well as work integrated learning. As part of the work integrated learning they assist their students in gaining placements for internships, learnerships or apprenticeships. Student support services are available to all students at all campuses. Ikhala TVET College encourages their students to apply for NSFAS funding as it provides financial relief to low income households.
Tshwane South TVET College strives to equip their students with vocational and occupationally directed skills to reduce unemployment, poverty and to contribute to the economic growth of South Africa. In addition to providing various courses, they also provide deserving students with bursaries to help them financially.
At Tshwane South TVET College learners are given the opportunity to take part in learnerships and short skills courses.
Mnambithi TVET College aims to be the leading TVET College by providing quality education and training courses. They are made up of six campuses, each offering a variety of courses. Students are provided with support services to help them overcome the hurdles that they may face during their college careers. These support services ensure that they achieve their academic goals and enter into the career of their choice. Assistance is provided to all students with applying for financial aid, namely NSFAS. NSFAS provides financial relief to low income households.
The CTA is a tough qualification and requires a total commitment by both students and staff.
