Where to Study

Boston Media House aims to provide students with the best opportunity to study and qualify for a career in the media industry. They offer a variety of courses at their campuses.

There are three campuses. Courses are recognized globally.

Ulwazi Literacy Training is registered as a private college with the Department of Higher Education and Training.

Qualitas Career Academy Pty Ltd was established in 2007. They are an accredited private training provider registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training. They started out as a Hairdressing Academy, but has since developed into a full campus offering various programmes.

Sizanesu is a private Nursing Training Institute, established in 2014. It is located in Pongola in an area called Mvunyane. It is accredited by the SANC and QCTO.

Will NSFAS Cover Elangeni TVET College Courses?

NSFAS provides financial relief to low income households. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding.

Felix Higher Education and Training (Pty) Ltd is a private higher education institution registered in terms of the Higher Education Act (Act 101 of 1997 as amended). It was established in 2017, but has only become operational, offering affordable tertiary management education to all individuals seeking to upskill.

CTU has over 15 campuses nationwide, 10 000 certified students and over 900 courses. CTU Training Solutions offers opportunities for full time and part-time studies, short courses, online training, and Hybrid (VILT) training in information technology, design, business, engineering, and humanities faculties. 

CTU training has been developing skilled professionals since 1987.

SACAP refers to the South African College of Applied Psychology.

IIE's Varsity College is a private higher education institution in South Africa that operates under The Independent Institute of Education (IIE), the largest private education provider in the country. Midlands Community College is a vibrant non-profit educational centre situated in Nottingham Road in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. International Hotel School offers diplomas and higher certificates in a hospitality, food and event management subjects. Studying hospitality is very popular as there are many career options available for graduates, both in South Africa and internationally.

Mangosuthu University of Technology offers a variety of departments. Student housing is available near the university. Bursaries and scholarships are awarded to deserving students to help with university costs. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding as it provides financial relief to low income households.

Durban University of Technology offers many different departments as well as short courses. There are libraries at all campuses for students to use for their studies. Writing centres are offered to help students to improve their writing, reading and researching skills. Bursaries and scholarships are awarded to deserving students. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding as it provides financial relief to low income households.

The University of Zululand (Unizulu) is a comprehensive university offering approximately 252 accredited degrees, diploma and certificate courses across the faculties of Arts; Education; Science and Agriculture as well as Commerce, Administration and Law at the KwaDlangezwa and Richards Bay campuses.

The University of KwaZulu-Natal, also known as UKZN, is a university with five campuses in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It was formed on 1 January 2004 after the merger between the University of Natal and the University of Durban-Westville.

Umgungundlovu TVET College offers a variety of courses, both full-time and part-time programmes. There are five campuses. Assistance is provided to students when applying for finacial aid. NSFAS provides financial relief to low income households. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS.
