University students held a protest after a spate of crimes befell this community. Students are now demanding that their university and student representatives look for solutions to ensure that they are safe.

 


The University of KwaZulu-Natal says that it has not been able to process NSFAS allowance, because the bursary scheme has not released the funding guidelines for the 2022 academic year. However, this has not stopped the university from giving a provisional date on when it plans to process these allowances.
