On Sunday night, President Cyril Ramaphosa took to the podium as he announced changes to the National Lockdown regulations. These included a new curfew, lockdown level and a few other things so keep reading for all the details.


It is less than one year since the first case of the new virus, Covid-19 was identified in South Africa and the first batch of vaccine to protect against the infection has landed in the country.  President Cyril Ramaphosa will be speaking to the country again tonight with an update on the vaccine programme, and maybe, just maybe, updates on the lockdown regulations. 


President Cyril Ramaphosa will once again be sitting the nation down tonight to deliver another address. This could be about possible tougher lockdown regulations. Could we see a hard lockdown being put into place?


Amid the rapidly rising number of Covid-19 cases in South Africa despite the adjusted alert level 3 lockdown, President Cyril Ramaphosa hints that a national address will be taking place soon. 


With the President engaging in a National Coronavirus Command Council meeting and the country suffering under the weight of the second wave, conversations of a lockdown level 5 being implemented seems to fill the air. Here's what we do know.


The President has revealed who will be first in line to get the vaccine once it's ready. He also spoke on when we can expect the vaccine to be completed and ready to be distributed. This family meeting, although not as harsh, was definitely one which was needed.
