The MEC for Education in Mpumalanga has said that he is confident that learners are prepared for the upcoming final matric exam.

 

 


Two pupils in Mpumalanga have been suspended for assaulting a fellow learner. It's claimed the assault occurred after the pupil refused to join a group, known as Izikhothane.


Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says the province was ready and prepared when it came to primary school learners to go back to daily classes. This follows a few changes in the registration process for grade 1 as well as grade 8 learners in the province being announced.


Classes have resumed at Witbank Technical High School in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga after two teachers and three more pupils have been suspended at the school following protests against racism last week, which resulted in classes being suspended.


The Department makes a shocking discovery as they work to close all unregistered schools across the country. There has already been a good amount of schools that were found to be unregistered.
