Amid the rapidly rising number of Covid-19 cases in South Africa despite the adjusted alert level 3 lockdown, President Cyril Ramaphosa hints that a national address will be taking place soon.

On Sunday South Africa surpassed the one million mark for COVID-19 cases and many have been speculating about whether a hard lockdown will follow. 


On Sunday, South Africa exceeded one million COVID-19 cases, with 1 004 413 cumulative cases reported by Health Minister Dr Zwelini Mkhize.
