As part of the College’s strategic goals; to deliver training relevant to the needs of industry and the changing environment, False Bay TVET College recognizes that more must be done to address climate change and global warming. This includes the increased deployment of renewable energy and decarbonising our economies as a matter of urgency.


The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) launched the Pre-Vocational Learning Programme (PLP) Pilot Project in 2018 with the participation of 9 colleges.  False Bay TVET College took part in the pilot and enrolled 62 students at the Khayelitsha Campus.


False Bay College aims to be the leading TVET College in the country. Their mission is to empower their students to become assets to society and have lifelong access to education. They offer various courses as well as E-Learning, Funded Programmes and Learnerships. False Bay College assists their students with applying for financial aid and they provide Open Learning Centres for their students to use.
