SASSA has recently announced that recipients of the R350 SRD grant should be making use of the SRD website for the related services. 


On 15 October President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the extension of the R350 SRD grant for another three months and this was welcomed by many. However, the Democratic Alliance (DA) worries that its implentation will continue to be disorderly. 

 


The C19 People’s Coalition has raised concerns about Sassa’s R350 grant and has said it ‘falls short of promised reprieve’. Meanwhile, Sassa urges SRD applicants to be patient.
