The National Student Financial Aid Scheme, better known as NSFAS, has had their applications open since August and have already received so many applications. However, when do applications close? Read this to find out.

The EFF Students Command are now giving their response to this position taken by NSFAS, which speaks on the possibility of financial exclusions, by also pointing the finger at NSFAS Administrator, Randall Carolissen, who supports the financial aid scheme's decision.


The South African Union of Students has said that NSFAS pulling funding from thousands of students was the wrong step for the financial aid scheme to take. The NSFAS Administrator does however defend the decision made and has said that it was an improvement.
