Where to Find SASSA Online

You can find the official SASSA website by going to www.sassa.gov.za . Here you will be lead to the SASSA homepage, where you will find announcements about grants and relevant media releases or information on the various SASSA grants that you might be looking for. 

On this website you can also find links to other social sectors, like the Department of Home Affairs and the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA). 

Official South African Government Website

For the official South African Government website page on SASSA, go to www.gov.za. On this website, you will find many different resources with regards to tax, assistance for foreign nationals and other relevant information to assist you.

The SA government website also provides you with more accurate information about Covid-19 and the vaccination process. They have all their social media platforms available at the top of the page, to follow them and keep yourself update of current affairs 

Social Relief of Distress Grant Website

Since we have been affected by Covid-19, South African government has implemented the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant to assist underprivileged South African during these uncertain times.

For the SRD grant website you can go to srd.sassa.gov.za/. Here you will find more information on the SRD grant and how to apply for the grant. If you have already applied, this website is also where you can check your application status.

SASSA Services Website

For the SASSA services website you can go to services.sassa.gov.za/. This website has information on grants and other services that SASSA provides.

You will be able to upload your required documents and check you application statuses from the SASSA services website.
