Students who would like to apply to write the June National Senior Certificate Exam but do not qualify may:

  • register for the Senior Certificate (SC) examination.
  • register as a part-time repeater candidate for the November NSC examinations.
  • consider vocational education and training.

Candidates will need to register as part-time repeaters for the November NSC Exam before 18 February 2022 at any education district office.

Senior Certificate exams are school-leaving qualifications for adults and out-of-school learners over the age of 21.

Those interested in furthering their studies may apply to any of the 50 TVET colleges in South Africa.

All of these options will allow students to better themselves and help them get closer to achieving their goals.

For those that would like to re-write their NSC exam, you are given the chance the to do so. May/June registration closes 11 February 2022, and November registrations close 18 February 2020. Don't miss this opportunity!@DBE_SA #DBEsupport #secondchance matric pic.twitter.com/PsZgjaW1UK
