The University of South Africa (Unisa), is an open distance e-learning university which enables students to pursue their studies using online resources and study materials provided by the university themself.
The university has announced that students can now download their study material while they wait for their registration to be finalized or for their printed study material to be delivered.
If you are already registered then you can access your study material on myUnisa on your module site, just go to: https://my.unisa.ac.za
If your registration must still be finalized then you can still download your study material by clicking here. You will however not be able to view study materials for Unisa short courses.
At Unisa students are provided with study material which consists of written content via textbooks or online via myUnisa. Unisa provides access to computers and internet at some of their facilities but students should have their own computer and access to the internet.
Unisa offers a combination of career-orientated courses which are usually associated with a university of technology, combined with general formative academic programmes typically linked to a traditional university.
The University offers many certificates, degrees and diplomas at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels.
Even though they do distanced learning, Unisa students are provided with many support services through libraries, tutorial support, counselling and other online tools.
Visit Unisa's website for more information.
