The University of South Africa (Unisa) announced that technical difficulties were experienced due to power outage challenges experienced in Muckleneuk. The power outage affected Unisa's data and server.

Due to the power outage, students were not able to gain access to university online platforms, which include exam sites. Exams were therefore disrupted by these technical difficulties.

Unisa has announced that the affected exams will be rescheduled to accommodate those who were unable to write their exams. Students will be notified when the exams will be taking place.

According to the university, officials are addressing the challenges to ensure that exams start as soon as possible. The university has also apologised for the inconvenience caused.

Students are encouraged to keep an eye on their emails and the university website for any news about the exam dates.
