85% of examination results have been released thus far by the University of South Africa (Unisa). Unisa had one examination period for the whole year which lasted for three months from October until December.
This years’ examinations were tough as students encountered challenges such as load shedding and intermittent connection. However, a second chance for a re-write was granted to them.
For students to qualify for a re-write, they would have to have achieved between 45% and 49%.
This year, the university has made history of it hosting its largest examination with 2 296 072 exams written by students for the 2021 examination period.
Unisa is rushing against time to make sure that results are released timeously with results expected to be released by the 21st of December 2021.
