Unisa Moves Some Exam Sessions
Unisa's examination period has begun. However, students have complained about postponement and changes to exams. Unisa has addressed this.
The May/June examination period has begun for Unisa students. The University has however sene many complaints following glitches, poor communication and exam postponements.
Unisa has had to keep everything under control, due to the pandemic. They then made the decision to have no venue-based exams. They have stated that, "Unisa needed to put systems in place to facilitate online examinations in a very short period of time".
Unisa made some changes to their ICT infrastructure so that they can increase their capacity to handle high traffic during exams.
The institution stated, "During this time, we, unfortunately, had to move a few exam sessions to a later time or date to ensure that no students missed their assessment opportunity."
Students will be notified 2 days in advance via SMS should any changes to the exam timetable or others occur.
